The National Center for Information and Documentation hosted the second organizational meeting of the consortium of five national ENIC and NARIC centres from Latvia (coordinator), Bulgaria, Armenia, Estonia and the United Kingdom on project QUATREC - Comparing qualifications for reliable recognition, which took place on April 03, 2019 in Sofia.

The project is co-financed by the European Commission, program “Erasmus +”, Higher Education - Knowledge Alliances, Bologna Support, Jean Monnet.

The meeting started with a presentation about the national structure of academic recognition in Bulgaria, some good practices and main challenges. Later the project coordinators provided additional information on the Project Activity Plan and the forthcoming meetings of the consortium to partners. Each partner reported the progress in terms of the project activity, shared experience gained and challenges faced. Valuable discussions were made on the activities made up to now and possible optimizations to the project results were commented.

During the meeting the partners discussed the final report content and structure, analyzed the qualification learning outcomes and deadlines of main activities and clarified the main project activities and schedule by the end of the project in 2020.

Next consortium meeting will be held in Estonia in the end of August or September.

On August 22, 2018 in Riga, Latvia took place the first organizational meeting of the consortium of the project QUATREC - Comparing qualifications for reliable recognition, co-financed by the European Commission, program “Erasmus +”, Higher Education - Knowledge Alliances, Bologna Support, Jean Monnet. The meeting was organized by the Academic Information Centre of Latvia (AIC) as a leading institution in the project.

The coordinator informed the participants, representing the 4 partner centers from Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia and United Kingdom about the main activities of the project, the expected results and the contribution of each partner. The schedule of activities during the implementation period was also discussed, further intermediate meetings, as well as the criteria for selecting one bachelor and one master qualification for in-depth study, different aspects of qualifications to be explored and compared and other issues of mutual interest.

The scheduled end of the project is February 29, 2020.
