Procedure
An Administrative Service Center employee checks the application and the documents attached to it and gives instructions for removing any discrepancies. Applications that meet all regulatory requirements and to which all necessary documents are attached receive a registration number.
In cases where some of the required documents are not attached to the application, the administrative proceedings are suspended for the period the applicant submits them after notification. When the application is submitted electronically, the applicant is notified by an electronically generated message.
If there are deficiencies in the application and/or in the documents attached to it, a deadline is set for their removal. The applicant is notified to remove the deficiencies and receives information about the consequences of not removing them within the deadline. When the application is submitted electronically, the applicant is notified by an electronically generated message.
If all documents are attached to the application and/or all additionally required documents are submitted in the required form in the given term, the submitted application shall be examined on its merits by an expert commission, which shall carry out an expert assessment of the submitted documents and decide whether to grant or refuse recognition.
In the event of a decision to recognize secondary education, a certificate is issued in accordance with the state educational standard for information and documents.
The certificate of recognition of secondary education obtained in a foreign country school and the official note are signed by the executive director of NACID and may be issued as electronic documents. They are valid only within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
